Converted-currency payments

Find more items to love from connected markets on Vinted and get the currency conversion taken care of without any fuss.

Use the “Buy now” button on Vinted to make a purchase like you normally do. The payment in your local currency is converted and the seller will get paid in their local currency (once the order is complete).

The item price and other applicable fees will be visible in your own currency. You can also see the cost before conversion in the seller’s currency by clicking “See currency conversion” at the checkout.

The total to pay in your currency is an approximation based on the exchange rate.

When you use the “Buy now” button to make a purchase, the payment and currency conversion is handled by Adyen N.V. — our payment service provider.

Adyen uses the mid-market rate and charges a 1.2% or 3% conversion fee, depending on the currencies converted. The fee is included in the conversion rate provided to you at the checkout.

• 1.2% between standard currencies
• 3% between non-standard currencies
• 3% between non-standard and standard currencies

• You can also Make an offer for items from another country. However, note that both buyer and seller offer prices can change based on the exchange rate.
• If the seller accepts your offer or makes a counter-offer, hit “Buy now” as soon as possible to get the deal you wanted.
• If you need a refund, you’ll receive the same amount that you paid in your local currency.
