CHOP is a creative workshop in the heart of Brussels that gives a second life
to discarded wine and alcohol bottles. Each piece is handcrafted by Sam,
the co-founder, who carefully cuts, sands, and polishes every bottle with
meticulous attention to detail.
The result: unique glasses, vases, and candles that blend modern
aesthetics with environmental consciousness.
By sourcing bottles locally from restaurants and bars and using a lowimpact,
manual process, CHOP minimizes waste, reduces the use of raw
materials like silica sand, and lowers CO2 emissions and water
consumption.
CHOP aims to become a model of sustainability in Brussels and beyond,
proving that a simple empty bottle can, through a carefully considered act, be
transformed into a meaningful and useful object.
